  1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal data is any kind of information that directly or indirectly can be attributed to a physical person. We collect personal information that you provide to us, such as name, address, email address, contact details, password, security data, and payment information. Personal information that we save is such that you voluntarily provided to us when you registered on our "sites" to, for example, register your interest in receiving information about us or our products and services. Information is also collected when you participate in activities on the sites (such as posting questions in our forum, reporting a post, participating in competitions/challenges, or to receive giveaways) or if you contact us in any other way. The personal information that we choose to save depends on the context of your interaction with us and the sites. The choices you make, the products and features you use affect which information is stored with us.

Personal information that we save can be the following:

  • Name and contact details. We save your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other contact details.

Information collected automatically

Certain information – such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics – is collected automatically when you visit (use or navigate) our sites. This information does not reveal your identity (like your name or contact information does) but may include device and user information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language settings, referral addresses, device name, country, location, information on how and when you use our sites, and other technical information. This information is primarily used so that we can maintain good security, optimize the operation of our sites, and for internal analysis and reporting purposes. If you choose to link your Petli account to a third-party account (such as your Google or Facebook account), we may use the information you allowed us to collect from the third party to facilitate the account creation and login process.

- to send marketing and advertising to you. We and/or our third-party marketing partners may use the personal information you send to us for marketing purposes, but only if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. You can opt out of our marketing messages at any time (see "WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS" below).

- to send administrative information to you. We may use your personal information to send information about products, services, and new features and/or information about changes to our terms and policies.

- to fulfill and manage your orders. We may use your information to fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the sites.

- to post reviews. We may publish reviews you have left on our sites, which may contain personal information. Before we post a review, we obtain your consent to use your name and your review. - to protect our sites. We may use your information to keep our sites secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention of fraud).

- to enable communication between users. We may use your information to facilitate communication between users with each user's consent.

Petli only shares information with your consent and then to comply with laws, provide you with services, protect your rights, or fulfill business obligations.

We may use or share your information based on the following legal grounds:

- Consent: we may process and share your data if you have given us consent to use your personal data for a specific purpose.

- Legitimate interests: we may process your data when it is crucial for us to achieve our legitimate business interests.

- Performance of a contract: if we have entered into a contract with you, we may process your personal data to fulfill the terms of our contract.

- Legal obligations: we may share your information if we are legally obliged to do so in order to comply with laws, governmental regulations, a judicial procedure, court order, or legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a lawsuit (as well as in response to public authorities' efforts to fulfill national security or law enforcement requirements).

- Vital interests: we may share your information if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, potential threats to someone else's safety, or illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.

We may also need to save or share your personal data in the following situations:

- Business Transfers: We may share your information in connection with, or during negotiations on, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or parts of our business by another company.

- Vendors, Consultants, and Other Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf if they require access to such information to carry out their work. Examples include: payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing efforts. 6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). The purpose of this policy does not require us to keep your personal information longer than the time period during which you have an account with us. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to store your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. If this is not possible (for example, because your information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from further use until deletion is possible.

7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE?

Petli strives to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures. These are implemented to safeguard all the personal information we process. However, remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet is 100% secure. Even though we will do our best to protect your personal information, the transmission of personal information to our websites is at your own risk. Ensure you access our websites from a secure environment.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

Within regions, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights that give you greater access to and control over your personal information. You can review, change, or terminate your account at any time. There also exists a specific data protection regulation (GDPR) that may include the right (i) to request access and receive a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request correction or deletion, (iii) to limit the processing of your personal information, and (iv) to exercise data portability, movement of your information. Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

At any time, you have the right to withdraw your consent for us to use your personal information. However, this request will not affect the legality of the processing of your data before it was withdrawn. Account Information

If you want to review or change the information in your account or close your account, you can: Log in and update your user account. Upon your request to close your account, we will deactivate or remove your account and your information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our records to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, uphold our terms of use, and/or comply with legal requirements.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this may affect certain functions or services on our sites. Opting Out of Email Marketing

You can unsubscribe from our email marketing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails we send or by contacting us by email at woof@petli.app. You will then be removed from the email marketing list, but we will still need to send you service-related emails necessary for the administration and use of your account. To opt-out of that, you can: Open your account settings and update your preferences as desired.

9. CONTROL OF THE DO-NOT-TRACK FUNCTION

Most web browsers, some mobile operating systems, and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting. You can activate the feature to signal that you do not want your online activities monitored and collected. No universal technology standard for recognizing and interpreting DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we currently cannot respond to browser DNT signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard online tracking procedure is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy policy.

10. DO USERS IN CALIFORNIA HAVE SPECIAL RIGHTS?

Yes, if you are a resident of California, you have special rights regarding access to your personal information. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, allows users who are California residents to request and obtain once a year, free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) that we may have disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of those third parties with whom we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact details provided below. If you are under the age of 18, reside in California, and have a registered account with us, you have the right to request the removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on our sites. To request removal of such data, contact us using the contact information provided below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement verifying that you reside in California. We will then ensure the data is not publicly displayed on our sites, but be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from all our systems.

1. VILKEN INFORMATION SAMLAR VI IN?

Personuppgifter är all slags information som direkt eller indirekt kan hänföras till en fysisk person. Vi samlar in personlig information som du lämnar till oss, exempelvis namn, adress, e-postadress, kontaktuppgifter, lösenord och säkerhetsdata samt betalningsinformation.

Information som samlas in automatiskt

Viss information – såsom IP-adress och/eller webbläsar- och enhetsegenskaper – samlas in automatiskt när du besöker (använder eller navigerar) våra sites.   • för att skicka marknadsförings- och reklam till dig. Vi och/eller våra tredjeparts-marknadsföringspartners kan komma att använda den personliga information du skickar till oss för marknadsföringsändamål, men enbart om detta är i enlighet med dina marknadsföringspreferenser. Du kan när som helst välja bort våra marknadsföringsmeddelanden (se ”VILKA ÄR DINA RÄTTIGHETER” nedan).

  • Utförande av ett kontrakt: om vi har ingått ett avtal med dig kan vi komma att behandla dina personuppgifter för att uppfylla villkoren i vårt kontrakt.

6. HUR LÄNGE SPARAR VI DIN INFORMATION?

Vi kommer endast att behålla dina personuppgifter så länge som det är nödvändigt för de syften som anges i denna integritetspolicy, såvida inte en längre lagringsperiod krävs eller tillåts enligt lag (såsom skatt, redovisning eller andra lagkrav). Petli strävar efter att skydda din personliga information genom ett system av organisatoriska och tekniska säkerhetsåtgärder. Dessa är implementerade för att skydda all personlig information vi behandlar. Kom dock ihåg att vi inte kan garantera att internet är 100 % säkert. Även om vi kommer att göra vårt bästa för att skydda din personliga information sker överföring av personlig information till våra sites på egen risk. 8. VILKA ÄR DINA RÄTTIGHETER?

Att välja bort e-postmarknadsföring

För att välja bort det kan du: Öppna dina kontoinställningar och uppdatera inställningarna efter dina önskemål.

 

9. KONTROLL AV SPÅRA-INTE-FUNKTIONEN

De flesta webbläsare, vissa mobila operativsystem och mobilapplikationer inkluderar en Spåra-inte-funktion (eller Do-Not-Track ”DNT” funktion). Du kan även justera dina inställning och aktivera att du inte vill ha information om din webbläsaraktiviteter övervakas och samlas in. Ingen teknikstandard för att känna igen och implementera DNT-signaler har slutförts. Därför kan vi för närvarande inte svarar på DNT-webbläsarsignaler eller någon annan mekanism som automatiskt kommunicerar ditt val att inte spåras online. Om en standard för onlinespårning antas som vi måste följa i framtiden kommer vi att informera dig om den praxisen i en reviderad version av denna integritetspolicy.

 

10. HAR ANVÄNDARE I KALIFORNIEN SÄRSKILDA RÄTTIGHETER?

Ja, om du är bosatt i Kalifornien har du särskilda rättigheter angående tillgång till din personliga information. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, även känd som ”Shine The Light”-lagen, tillåter användare som är bosatta i Kalifornien att begära och erhålla, en gång om året och kostnadsfritt, information om kategorier av personlig information (om någon) som vi kan ha avslöjat för tredje part för marknadsföringsändamål. De får även namn och adresser till de tredje parter som vi delat personlig information med under det föregående kalenderåret.
